Given that I was 23 in 2000, I remember the days before the Internet. But was local product selection always so poor? I'm setting up a dust collection system for my wood shop and things like "spiral pipe", "lateral wyes", and "14-30 to 6-20 power adapters" are unavailable at Home Depot, Lowes, Jerry's etc. without ordering (which I can do online myself).
I'm sourcing the pipe from a local metal fabricator which is nice. But I'll need to order the wyes and electrical components.
