Gack! Just took my biannual 💩 sample for the national bowel cancer screening program. At least that's done for a while! Nasty job, but as I'm at risk of hereditable colorectal cancer I'm not skipping it. (And I'll be banging on the GP's door when genetic screening for colon cancer becomes available.)
(Granddad died of it. Dad was treated and died much later of something else. And eldest sibling had malignant polyps removed a few years ago—and is cancer-free at this time.)
