I napkined the math on ATN#5 when Michigan introduced the idea.

* Costs at least 40x a regular road.
* You can't get more than a trickle charge into a car without driving enough amps to melt asphalt.
* Maintenance is going to be 1000x a normal road.

And that's before noting that Michigan has seasons. Winter freeze + summer heat will destroy the system within five years.

(And don't even think about what road salt will do)
