In all seriousness, what I meant was, how could you verify that the data associated with an entity's actions is spontaneously obtained and not spoofed.

Simple examples:
- you performing a push-up
- recording GPS coordinates / heart-rate through all the stages of a long distance event

How could you verify either of those? You could approximate the heart-rate to other riders/runners, copy coordinates or movements (from a body tracking suit) from somebody else.

Even if 3rd party was present to vouch for an action taken, how do you verify they are truthful and not a sock puppet building a whole community of fakes?

That's the part where I said device instead of 3rd party. Once this is figured out, the metric could be "field" specific. Whichever entity does the most verifiable actions in a specific "field", the higher the count and on the ladder they are.

It'd be based on provable real life work in a specific field of study or whatever grouping it would have. But it wouldn't be general like followers, but a lot more proof-of-performed-actions specific.

"Influencers" would actually have to perform the actions, as opposed to what's happening now, where the primary action is pocketing money.
