What pisses me off most about Katie Britt is that she told that story about a young woman being sex trafficked, but she also supports the RAISE Act (which would cap the number of legal refugees (including refugees from sex trafficking) the US would accept) and the misnamed Asylum Abuse Reduction Act (which would require abused children to somehow find their way to a US embassy to do a telephone interview in order to even apply for asylum, then wait in Mexico while their case is reviewed).

It's pathological to say you want to help teenagers forced into sexual slavery, but also use your power to make it harder for them to receive help.
