I greatly dislike the Twitter/Mastodon style UI for representing threads.
Replies are inherently hierarchical, and readability suffers greatly from presenting tweet/toot replies as a list.
The issue is even worse for Mastodon because deeply nested replies have like 10 usernames tagged. This could be hidden and replaced with a 4px margin for each nesting level. Are there any Mastodon clients that do this?
