Lots of common bugs have been beaten out of the system but retain cycles still plague most apps I’ve seen. A lot of devs don’t understand them and defensively add weak markers everywhere (which can actually cause other bugs) and retain cycles still creep in. And it’s so hard to even know when they happen.",
