Not that I’m really counting, but I have more followers on Mastodon than I ever had on Twitter. Based on how often people here interact, I suspect that a lot more of them are actually here, unlike Twitter where lots of people signed up in like 2011 and faded away long before it became a total cesspool. Also, all my Mastodon followers, and the people I follow, are extremely smart and good looking.
