The washed-away Thames footpath at 6pm today between Richmond and Kew, an hour after high tide. The path between the river and the large pond on the other side has just vanished because the wet land/pond overtopped the path and has just eroded that bank away. The bike owner said he'd been watching it for 1h and the water had come down about a metre in that time. So I guess that section of the river (between Kew & Richmond) is going to be impassable for a while.
