Then you make your file manager able to see hidden files (cntrl+H on linux). Navigate in its .var folder until you find the 2.10 folder. Copy that folder over the existing $HOME/.config/GIMP/2.10/ folder.
Same for 3.0 (if you happen to have the 3.0-RC1 installed), you rename the new 2.10 as 3.0 and you copy it over the 3.0. The next time you load gimp, it will look like photoshop.
