I used to see a lot of live music pre-pandemic, often at the Hemlock Tavern (RIP) or Bill Graham, and walk home to SoMa at all hours. My most sketchy interactions have been with the (well-heeled) patrons of the Gold Club, but then the door people would quickly step in and intervene.
