After close to a year, I finally got my hands on a leather sheath that'll fit the trailmaster. Scooting about with it to get a feel for how it wears.
Has both a drop loop, and snaps for scout carry. Opting for the latter on my bianchi belt. Not a perfect design, imo. Because of my big pet peeve of retention strap being in path of blade travel. But it has two rivets at top and bottom, along with a couple more for the rod holder. So we won't let perfect be the enemy of good.
Did my normal quick fixes to sandwitch/taco sheaths by putting contact cement on the threads that lie along where the belly of the blade rests. This isn't going to stop threads from being cut over time, but it will help them last longer by keeping threads in place instead of unraveling.
