I have the answer to your greatest pest problem Vineborer
I learned this trick from a old Italian lady
Take the ash from your fireplace from winter save it for your garden after you zucchini plant comes up about 3 inches just before it gets the second sets of leaves put a pile of the ash around the base of the plant
The ash is acidic and the wont go near it
I put a solo cup at a time down needs to be replenished after a huge rain
My zucchini lasted into November and was 8 ft in diameter
Bio char it self works to but not as well
It only needs applied at the root base the only lay there eggs within close proximity to the soil surface
Works on pumpkins and any squash or watermelon or cucumbers
I’ve been meaning to pass this knowledge on for a while
Thanks for all you do love the content
