I've been fortunate to pretty much always have lived in the country.

There have been brief sojourns in various cities, enough to enjoy their many exciting offerings, but enough also to confirm my satisfaction in being a country mouse.

I like the quiet, the space, the vista, the vegetation, the rambling about and discovering hidden pockets of beauty. And I like to paint it.
