Rabbits eating mulberry prunings
I've pruned this mulberry tree several times this season to feed the rabbits. I barely made a dent in it this pruning and the rabbits got more than a full meal out of it. I'll keep pruning it until there's nothing left going into the fall. It was a volunteer in the food forest so I'm not concerned if I kill it. Eventually I might want the space for another fruit tree anyway. For now, it's growing into rabbit meat.

quoting nevent1q…nmg3Still plenty of rabbits left to harvest in the rabbit colony cannabis garden.
Simple tools and quick processing time is one of the many reasons I prefer rabbits over chickens.
They take just about any vegetation and turn it into meat. The organs tell the tale of a healthy diet too.
This one was a little smaller than I would have liked. Must have been extra fluffy and looked bigger than he was.
Been catching them with a net now instead of trapping so we can get exactly the ones we're after.
