A friend told me he couldn't stomach Mushoku Tensei because the protagonist is lusting after girls that would be too young for his old self in the "real" world.

Personally I've never paid much attention to stuff like that with isekai since it feels like besides the point with that genre. Isn't redoing your youth with your current knowledge a pretty reasonable fantasy setup?
