Listening to a podcast where they're analysing the transition of a movie series from the 1980s and into the #1990s, and thinking about what a BONKERS decade that was. Sure, the 2020s saw that and cranked the bonkeredness up to eleven, but even as a child I remember multiple things that were just... In context the confluence of all of history up to that point, but seemingly bizarre and unbelievable without it. Just a series of wild shit.
