One of the more disappointing things about legacy social media is how it is tuned for reactions.
One way we see this is how good questions very often go unanswered while the worst questions by the dumbest people get tons of responses.
For example, in a restaurant group if someone asks a question about where to get a part for a piece of equipment and gives sufficient details to provide an informed answer, very often it won't even be shown to enough people to have a chance at getting an answer.
And then when someone comes along and says, "Hey, my restaurant isn't, what do I do?" They get hundreds of responses and the dumb algorithms keep promoting it.
