The Vice-Chairman of the Education Commission of the Parliament announced that the commission is investigating various aspects of the murder of a student at the University of Tehran by thugs. He said: The most important step that needs to be taken to ensure the security of students is to establish a smart surveillance system around universities and dormitories to quickly identify any security threats. We expect the police patrols to improve street lighting, create safe routes for student traffic, and implement these measures during peak hours at night.
