Yesterday I met with my primary dr.
We started with her telling me that the neurologist had asked her to schedule me for official autism and ADHD testing in January or February.
Then she told me that my therapists, who have been visiting me at home, have reported to her that care from my family has been “negligent”. I knew that they thought that, but I didn’t know they were reporting it to anyone. But now it’s in my file, officially.
My dr said she fully supports moving to a group home situation. I didn’t even know she was already in the loop on that. She said, “We’re not saying your sister is a bad person, just that this is more than she can handle.”
I don’t know how I feel about it. It definitely feels like I am betraying her… and she will DEFINITELY take it as a betrayal!
