I wasn't old enough to start caring much about 3D until the sixth generation (though the first 3D console I ever played was my uncle's N64) but the original Playstation still fascinates me.

I only got one many years later, used, and with only a couple games that weren't as well-known, but the sheer level of JRPGs and the way that developers really experimented is just really intriguing!
