Studio One is the only Windows DAW I can recommend. I'd tell you to use Logic but I doubt you want to go anywhere near MacOS.
You can also just pirate (don't buy it, their new business model is absolute garbage and they're becoming worse and worse as a company) Reason if you want a more hands-on approach or if you want to learn how audio routing actually works.
Stay away from Ableton and especially Cubase, modern Cubase sucks major dick even if it still has the best MIDI writing tools.
If you're more interested in notation software it's probably less painful to just shoot yourself, they all* fucking suck and you can blame (((steinberg))) for it, they somehow managed to get their competitor to stop selling their product.
*musescore is okay but the musescore service itself fucking blows
