I was just reading about that. They conveniently detained him on January 5th for a crime he committed in December. So his group went to the Capitol without him, to enact their plan that he had been leading as leader of the organization.
I wonder if Trump won if he would pardon him. He's basically a political prisoner. But he did also commit a crime.
