If you have yourself marked as an organ donor, you may want to reconsider. Many hospitals will sacrifice their ER patients because the economic incentive is for them to harvest as many organs as they can. If you think this is absurd, these are the same institutions that are still pushing certain experimental procedures that are known to have little to no positive effects against the thing they are supposed to treat, but can cause many serious and even life-threatening negative affects on people. These precedures are still even being pushed on children. Carry on.
