Thought experiment: If you “buy” follows, currently those people could just hack you for free sats because there’s no mechanism that requires you to subscribe. Anyone could just unfollow. But if you immediately took 1k sats and unfollowed on the suggestion that following was the trade, well, you’re a jerk. Value stolen is trust broken.
