Also I know I have US followers and on the bird site it has upset people so I better explain. "Queer" really is different here in the UK. I only ever hear it from other queer people describing our own communities. I have never heard is used as a slur here. I know it's not nice for some of you but here it works as a really nice, inclusive catch all word we truly own now
