I feel exactly the same; the gratitude and optimism I get from having left my Big Tech jobs to pursue my passion was well worth the pay cut and added responsibility. I would rather be broke, living in my parent's garage, working on realizing the future I want to see than feel trapped, empty, and status signalling in the fiat world.
And at least for now I'm not broke or living in my parents' garage. 😅
