49 is fine. The range is roughly 41 to 50. Being past 54 is where it gets dangerous for non-althletes. 60 is where athletes start stroking out. I'll run 55 to 58 without donation. My hematologist said based on my build and health, I have only have like a 3% chance of stroke without donation (I exercise roughly three hours a day. I'm breaking between sets of jumping rope right now). I donate anyways just to be safe. I also take aspirin, fish oil, and vitamin E.
