I was able to download copies from this site:
https://gogoanime.co.ba/sousou-no-frieren-dub-episode-1/They're not quite as good as the ones on 9anime.bid [I liked how they had both subs AND dubs in parts], but they still look pretty okay.
Copying them on to my media doodad so we can watch them on the big TV. I am pretty sure the missus is gonna love this.
