We live in interesting times.
There was a time, if you had a 10+ year old PC, I would have told you that you desperately needed to upgrade. That is no longer the case.
My DELL T3610 will soon be 11 years old. I bought it during the pandemic, when PC parts were going for insane prices. It made sense to buy a used system, because I only needed it for work, and it was (and mostly still is), overkill for that purpose.
But even today, I find I can still game on my PC. I may not be playing the latest bleeding edge title in ultra detail settings, but I still can game on this, and most certainly do all my many other tasks.
Currently, I dual-boot between the most bleeding edge Fedora Rawhide, Ultramarine Linux, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC just fine too.
Not bad for an 11-year-old system. As I said, years ago, I don't think this would have been possible.
