There's a distinct LLM whiff to a lot of writing nowadays that I would liken to a 5-paragraph paint-by-numbers US high school essay. A very identifiable structure, diction and vanishingly low density of actual content. Given that you can get a lot more stylistically distinct results from LLMs, it's weird that people seem to be happy with that default.
