Imagine there were no planes or ships.
What would you eat?
You would eat what's around you.
I often think about this in relation to Carbohydrates.
Carbs are not the problem, its your environment.
Traditional cultures ate carbs seasonally and locally, in sync with their movement and sunlight exposure.
They still thrived, living free from chronic disease.
Today?
→ We eat for winter, year-round. A high-carb, high-fat, ultra-processed diet.
→ We sit indoors all day, disconnected from natural metabolic signals.
→ We pair carbs with inactivity, leading to insulin resistance and fat gain.
When carbs are eaten seasonally, in sync with daylight and movement, they work with your body, not against it.
I’ll break it all down in my read dropping tomorrow.
