Yeah, like in the Old Testament, where you were supposed to marry your brother's widow (ewwww...), so that she doesn't starve to death 🤷‍♀️ because only wives got to eat or something, and men would frantically keep adding concubines and wives, in the hope of producing an heir and a bunch of spares, and then their harem was always squabbling and stabbing each other and the sons were raping their half-sisters and marrying their cousins (that narrow gene pool, ftw) and everyone was inbred as heck.
