#OTD 9 August 1931 Rebecca Ann Maynard Alexander died in Dresden, Tennessee. She was born in 1840, in Virginia, to Judith Ragland and Evan Maynard of Halifax County. The family moved west to Tennessee when she was a child. She married at age 15, in Weakley County, to Thomas Jefferson Alexander, a farmer. Rebecca had two sets of twins and 8 other children. Thomas and Rebecca were my 2nd-great-grandparents.
