I really don’t think an overt / violent revolution will lead to anything better. Likely just new (and probably worse) warlords seizing power.
The only hope I see is for freedom tech to get to a point where new systems can be built outside of the existing power structures and simply become a better option for others to opt into. Effectively bleeding legacy governance dry by providing a viable / accessible / anti-fragile alternative.
