cd "$1" works for the process. i have a check to show the folder's content and everything is there.
MY EXPECTATION was that i would see my terminal switch into the new folder.
but what am getting is that cd in a function is for the process, not the user?
like, i get the logic of that now but it's not my expectation. if the process is going to cd i would expect to move with it as well.
