People should reject 'a11y' not because it's an ironic abbreviation but because it represents creating a tech friendly accessibility movement which comes with the rest of techs baggage.
Wider disabled politics is much more ambitious we need to avoid making tech only accessibility spaces when technologist are not the forefront of disabled thinking.
