See, this is what the GNU/Linux enthusiasts don’t quite grasp. Pop is doing well because they’re taking the overall playing grounds that is Linux and packaging it in an easy to digest package with their computer line up. It’s no longer “Linux,” it’s Pop. Grandma buying a computer online is looking for something pleasing to see and use. Systemwhatever company offer that, with the added bonus of being flexible to new editional features if the user so chooses.
I DO want a walled garden though, having to ‘sudo’ your way to get tiny little things like a status monitor toolbar and a colored battery indicator is just gay. If you give that to most normies you’re just cursing your brothers to everlasting tech support duty!
