"content": "It's a very dense mushroom, just twist them off. Store in a brown paper bag - they will yellow over time but still edible. They're kinda mushroom stem texture and mild flavour. I cooked them two ways: roughly torn and then battered in southern spices and fried, very tasty! and the second was sliced and fried with onions in butter, topped with melted cheese and bbq sauce.
