The talk mentioned that they are thinking of a pricing drop, but I went to the booth where they said “they can’t beat Apple on pricing”.

But I am very surprised - surely reselling Backblaze/Wasabi or even running your own Ceph cluster on-prem makes sense. You still get the same margins but undercut Apple/Google.
