I think my thing with Beijing Opera is, I can only really listen to it if it has a full ensemble of Dizi, Suona, Jing Erhu, Jinghu, Yueqin, Sheng, Pipa and Sanxian.
If it's just a Yueqin and Jinghu, it's just too high pitched for me
