"content": "PGP web of trust approach is very poorly thought out and half baked. It adds a ton of attack surface and complexity. People sign each other's keys all the time without verifying anything. Look at how many signatures there are on the legacy GrapheneOS PGP signing key.\n\nFor secure messaging, it's better to use a proper secure messaging platform with forward secrecy and much better built-in verification. The ones with multi-session are half-baked right now though.",
