GA ☀️
I attended a wonderful church service this morning. It’s a small little country church with a big welcome.
Today’s message pertained to whether you are a disciple or a fan. Are you being a disciple sharing God’s word and lending a hand or ear and playing a key role? Or instead do you lean more towards being a fan and watching from a distance?
The pastor made it relatable to baseball; the players vs the fans. He even got into character playing a baseball cap and jersey on himself throughout the service. He’s a Detroit Tigers fan. He made a comment that he will even wear the jersey to a Toronto Bluejays game and some people will hate upon him. He said it’s sometimes like that when sharing your faith.
A few hymns we sung together touched on how God will make a way even when you feel like it’s impossible no matter what you’re facing. I had tears in my eyes at times.
I always leave church feeling uplifted and renewed. This coming week maybe we could all be a little kinder and be a key player spreading the word of God and being the light for some whether they are familiar faces or strangers. 💕
