The unwritten rule on fedi has always been "Don't use my data without my permission" but... that makes no sense for a federated protocol.

Plus, there's two bridges to Nostr that don't have opt-in/opt-out. I imagine fedi users really wouldn't be happy about those if they knew about them 😆
