I don't think Louis Rossman is on the FediVerse.
Sometimes, I hear him make some argument that "you can't get mad at Google/YouTube if you are running an adblocker because you aren't paying them" or some nonsense.
"Google 2.4% Rate Shows How $60 Billion Is Lost to Tax Loopholes. Google Inc. cut its taxes by $3.1 billion in the last three years using a technique that moves most of its foreign profits through Ireland and the Netherlands to Bermuda." That was in 2010 and just related to *one* country in which they are avoiding taxes (the USA).
Alphabet Inc./Google and these other multi-billion dollar surveillance capitalism entities also have sneaky ways of avoided taxes in MANY OTHER places. One petition against Alphabet Inc./Google has over 100,000 signatures and lists some tax evasion amounts in €.
In other words: you are paying for their services.
We ALL are.
They are not paying their fair share, at all.
I am not sure how to convince Louis Rossmann of such things because he didn't even reply to my last email and my comments on YouTube are almost invariably deleted (I can guess why and it is worse than you can even begin to imagine).

Being an apologist, for multi-billion dollar companies, is NEVER a good look.
Not ever.
Just because you run an adblocker or don't subscribe to YouTube premium does not invalidate that they are still taking more than their fair share.
