While I like their looks and how they hold in the hand, I'm not loving my Jinhao #FountainPen nibs. The fine nib (on my 500) is really scratchy, though it seems to put down enough ink. And even the medium nib (on my x450), while smoother than the fine one, is nowhere near as smooth as my Pilot MR1 medium nibs. Do I have duds or is this simply to be expected for such relatively cheap pens?
