I've been documenting advice on cost effective and powerful home node hardware. Typically it's buying machines that were originally $800+ new for less than $300. After refurbishment, you add more RAM and new disks. Typically can have 32GB RAM and RAID-1 redundant disks within the small form factor of a laptop. Redundancy is very important for LN channel state.

I've been posting the little details and examples in this Twitter community. Does Nostr have similar feature for communities where you can delegate to a group of users moderation powers? It's partly to control spam but also to keep posts there on-topic.
