Destroyed the art of writing? Not even close. It can summarize data well, but it can’t evoke any emotion, provide humour, initiate reflection on one’s life, or anything remotely close to what a human can do. I haven’t read a single thing produced by AI that I would consider “writing”. To be a writer you have to have lived a life worth writing about, or be able to do the more difficult task of becoming someone else. To know pain, to feel love, to have felt loss. To be human. I do agree with your other points though.
