Churches signaling antiracism and tolerance/approval of sexual perversions do so because they don't want people seeking true righteousness. It's easier to say you're okay with homobuttsex and feel like a good person than actually go out and help the soup kitchen. It's easier to shout "White Bad! Black Good!" than actually help families form in your congregation. Just like the Roman church with its system of good works that aren't (sitting in a monk cell alone for 10 years isn't loving your neighbor), mainline churches have adopted systems of false works to keep the laity wicked.
