With #nostr and sending crypto blazingly fast around the world with #lightning, for the first time I see: This is the future.

Storing value in crypto, I wouldn't recommend, but transactions? Hell yes.

My hunch is #mastodon should move to using #nostr, too. Having rudimentary relays with little maintenance is clearly easier than the way mastodon works now.
